Our Services
The Food Pantry of Alpine offers a program for eligible clients age 60 and over that meet specific income levels. To see if you qualify and receive additional supplemental food, please go to the Food Pantry on the next open dates (see distribution dates). This program is available to seniors on a monthly basis. This program is in addition to the monthly food supplements that are available. Since this program requires specific eligibility standards, clients age 60 and over will need to bring proof of residence in Northern Brewster Co., such as a utility bill or rental bill, and proof of income, before receiving the supplemental food. 2021 Elderly Income Guidelines (130% of Federal Poverty guidelines)
Proof of Name & Address: Name on a current utility bill, other mail, current lease
Proof of Age: Any ID (driver’s license, state ID, birth certificate, etc.) with your date of birth

Clients are encouraged to come on one of the listed days and are limited to one visit per month per family. The first Saturday is usually the busiest, but there are several other days that can be chosen instead. The Pantry has plenty of food for the month, no matter which day is chosen. We select days only in the first part of the month so that all of our fresh produce can be distributed and not spoil.
Please note that if you miss the regular distribution day, call us, and we can try to schedule a day and time for your food pick-up. Leave a message, and one of us will call you back if no one is at the Pantry.
